/ fine print / terms
The house
rules.
ante is small, invite-only and still in beta. These are the terms that come with a code. They are short on purpose.

applies to the private beta
If you read nothing else.
/ beta
ante is an invite-only private beta. It can change, break or pause, and nobody is charged for it yet.
/ your code
It is personal. One person, one code. A shared code gets switched off.
/ the data
Public X data, in the order X keeps it. Useful, never guaranteed complete.
/ not advice
ante shows who followed what, and in which order. What you do with that is on you.
/ be decent
No harassment, no spam lists, no reselling what you find here.
/ 01
What ante is
ante is a research tool that reads public X data: the earliest followers of an account, what an account followed recently, the overlap between projects, and a watchlist to keep the accounts worth remembering. ante ("we") is an independent product, currently in private beta. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to X Corp.
By entering an invite code or using the tool you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use ante.
/ 02
Access and invite codes
- ante is invite-only. A request for access is a request, not a promise of a place.
- A code is personal: one person per code. Do not share, publish, sell or give it away. Your watchlist and files hang on it.
- We can switch off any code at any time, and will if it is shared or used against these terms.
- You must be at least 18 to use ante.
/ 03
The beta, plans and prices
Nobody is charged during the private beta. The plans and prices on the site describe what we intend to offer; they can change before anything is sold.
When paid plans start you will be asked to pick one. Nothing will ever be charged without you taking that step yourself. Until then, limits on how large an account you can search and how much you can search in a period may apply, and may move.
/ 04
Fair use
You agree not to use ante, or anything you get from it, to:
- harass, stalk, threaten or expose any person, or single people out for abuse;
- build lists for spam, unsolicited bulk messages or fake engagement;
- resell, republish or redistribute results as a dataset, a feed or a competing service;
- scrape or automate ante, get around limits, or let other people in through your access;
- probe, overload or attack the service, or try to reach data that is not yours;
- break the law, or the rules of any platform you use alongside it.
Research, due diligence and deciding who to pay attention to are what ante is for.
/ 05
What the data is, and is not
Results come from public X data, read through a third-party provider. X does not publish the date of a follow. What it keeps is the order, and that is what ante shows.
- Suspended, deleted and hidden accounts drop out of the list, so № 001 means the earliest follower that still exists.
- Stored results can be out of date until they are refreshed.
- The provider can be slow, unavailable or incomplete. ante refuses to store a result it can tell is incomplete, but it cannot promise that every result is exact.
/ 06
Not financial advice
ante shows who followed what, and in which order. It is not investment, legal or tax advice, and an account being early to a project is not an endorsement of that project by anyone. Crypto assets can go to zero. Every decision you make with what you find here is yours alone.
/ 07
Yours and ours
Yours. Your watchlist and your files. We store them to run the tool for you, you can export them as CSV, and we delete them when you ask.
Ours. The site, the tool, the name, the drawings and the early ones who live in them. Please do not copy the brand or pass ante off as your own.
/ 08
No warranty, limited liability
ante is provided as it is and as it is available, without warranties of any kind. It is a beta: features can change, be limited or be removed, and the service can be interrupted.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, trading losses or lost data arising from your use of ante. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
/ 09
Ending, changes, contact
You can stop using ante at any time and ask us to delete your data. We can suspend or end your access if these terms are broken, or when the beta ends.
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and members hear about changes that matter before they take effect. Using ante after that means you accept the new terms.
